Merkelbach is one of them. And tiniest of them all! Only 1.9 hectares which translate to about \u003cstrong\u003eonly 20,000 bottles a year. \u003c\/strong\u003eAs a comparison, Lafite Rothschild makes about 240,000 bottles!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMerkelbach is owned by brothers Alfred and Roth Merkelbach.
