If you are looking for a special sparkling wine as a gift or to treat yourself, you MUST check this out. Made by one of Germany's top Pinot Noir producer, this Blanc de Blancs are extremely limited in production...made for family and regular customers in Germany. We have only 6 bottles left!
This sparkling wine is of course made by the same methode traditionelle that they use in Champagne. i.e. 2nd fermentation in the bottle. More than 5 years on lees.
In blinds, this wine was mistaken a few times as a fine vintage Champagne by few Champagne connoisseurs.
P/S: the 'label' was hand written by Bernhard Huber's daughter. Yes.. Bottle by bottle!
Food pairing: We would say as aperitif or with nice selection of hard cheeses. Young Comte is preferred. Charcuterie would be nice too!
