Originally formed from cooled volcanic magma, the diabase soil of the Saarburger Rausch comes together with Devonian slate in a remarkable terroir found nowhere else!
Rausch Diabas is a premium off dry wine in a style, comparable to a halbtrocken (semi-dry) Auslese. Notes of spring blossoms, apricots and white peach are firmly nestled in a silken palate. Great clarity yet depth! 2010 was a great vintage and it is very hard to find now. Must try!
Food Pairing: On its own or with most Chinese or local cuisines.
