For those who are new, GG stands for Grosses Gewachs in German which means Great Growth. When you see a GG wine, it means that this is a dry wine made from a Grand Cru vineyard - which in this case is Josepshofer Grand Cru - a monopol of Kesselstatt. i.e. entirely owned by them.
