First time we tasted this (not this vintage) was when we visited Hermitage a few years back. We still remember how good it was so here you are...the 2019 vintage.
Deep ruby in colour. Some reduction on the nose but just swirl your glass or decant it. Almost intense black fruits on the nose - mainly ripe blackberries, black pepper, a little smoky and sweet spice. Full bodied, medium + acidity, good freshness and purity of fruits. Excellent intensity of black fruits on the palate. Medium + finish of fresh black fruits. This is an AWESOME wine if you are looking for a Syrah!
Food Pairing: If you love cheese, this would be lovely with both hard and soft cheese. If not, pair with with some black peppered stirred fry beef or even a ribeye with black pepper sauce.
Variety: Syrah
Country: France
Region: Crozes-Hermitage

Gentle and small hills of Comlombier's Crozes Hermitage vineyards.
