Entry level by Battenfeld Spanier. One of our best selling basic dry German Riesling. We have always said German Riesling is the BEST white wine to accompany our Asian and Chinese cuisine. Medium bodied, with ripe stone fruits and lovely acidity. Try this entry level wine to find out. By the way, Eisquell means ice spring water. There is a spring in the region where it always freezes.

Producer's notes:
Grown on calcareous (limestone) steep slopes of the Wonnegau around Hohen-Sülzen and the Zellertal. Harvested by hand, selected again at the sorting table, matured in large old double-piece barrels and in stainless steel and left "sur lie" until well into spring. Already in the nose, the wine exudes a ripe stone fruit, which is accompanied by fine herbal aromas. Mirabelle plum aromas are found in the mouth, accompanied by a wonderful juiciness. The clearly emerging minerality and the precise style make the wine multi-layered, exciting and enormously encouraging to drink. The mouthfeel is refreshing, accompanied by a long finish - a Riesling that never tires. This is our Riesling "business card" and at the same time the entry into the premium wines of Battenfeld Spanier.
