Clos Floridène Rouge is strongly marked by an unusual association in Bordeaux, Cabernet-Sauvignon on calcareous soil. Yes, limestone! If you taste enough fine wines, you will realise that the best wines are grown on calcareous/limestone based soils.
With a bright and intense color, it has black-currant and wild strawberry aromas, with hints of mint, liquorice and smokiness. The fruit and tannin are powerful, silky and fresh.
Food pairing: Any roast or grilled meat meat, cold cuts and rillettes. Can be drunk on its own too after meal.
