We tasted this in Jan 2021. This is a wine that brings comfort and warmth (not because of alcohol).
Dark sour plums, hint of herbal complexity, almost full bodied, medium tannins (ripe and velvety). Good intensity on entry and mid palate. Great balance. Mellow. One that you can drink on its own. Medium finish. What a lovely Ribera del Duero. Definitely transports you back to Spain. Bravo! Plus, it is not easy to find a 2015 vintage Reserva Especial so don't miss out.
p/s: if you cannot find the vintage on the label, that's because it is written in Spanish. Bottom of the front white label. See our second photo. We had that problem too. Haha!
