If you are looking at this, we are sure that you know your Beaujolais. It's really hard to find this 2009 vintage (great one in Beaujolais) of this wine now.
Made by Jean-Louis Dutraive - one of the famous names in Beaujolais.
The Domaine de la Grand 'Cour was founded in 1969 by Jean-Louis' father, Jean Dutraive. It is one of the oldest in the village of Fleurie and has an exceptional heritage of old vines, particularly on the great terroirs of La Chapelle des Bois, Grand 'Cour and Champagne. The Domaine has 10.7 ha of vines, therefore mainly located in Fleurie (9.1ha) but also in Brouilly (1.6ha) where the family has kept a historic plot in the village of Charentay in Vuril. From the vineyard to the cellar, the sum of care taken by this great winemaker has helped to shape Beaujolais and their wines are among the great wines that connoisseurs seek - bursting with purity and finesse.
