Guy Charlemagne is a grower Champagne producer who makes really fine Rose Champagne.
100% Pinot Noir. This is made using the Rose de saignée method which involves the macerating the Pinot Noir grapes with the juice to obtain a really nice colour. Yes, colour is super important when it comes to a fine Rose.
It sports red cherries, strawberries and perhaps a hint of blackberries on nose.
Possible match made in heaven pairing would be lobsters (can even be the usual spring onion and ginger stir fried that you get at Chinese restaurant) and langoustine if you do western. Or an easier one smoked salmon if you plan to eat at home with this Rose.
