The 2012 vintage of this wine won Top 10 in the Singapore Business Times-UBS Wine Challenge 2014! Wines were tasted blind of course.
Grüner Veltliner (GV) literally means Green Veltliner. This is the most widely planted white grape variety in Austria (believed to be birthplace of GV). If you are not used to the high acidities of some varieties like Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc, GV is the perfect starting place for you to find your favourite dry white wine!
Bright lemon coloured with green hues, spicy scent of dried herbs, ripe apple and hint of ripe citrus. Juicy and fruity, still lively despite medium acidity. This is a medium bodied and fruity dry white that you must try if you want to know why somms and wine pros keep raving about Austrian GVs.
Certified Biodynamic.
Food pairing: Drink on its own or with most Chinese cuisines.
Variety: Grüner Veltliner (GV)
