Almost deep lemon. Ripe and dried peaches and apricot on the nose. Light honey and waxy/oily notes with hint of petrol which we German Riesling lovers adore. On the palate, ripe stone fruits like mentioned as well as ripe lemon and ripe apples. Some 'creaminess'. Medium + bodied and still vibrant/high acidity. Very complex and layers of flavours. What an intellectual wine. Tasted from Zalto Universal in May 2020. What a treat to drink a Kabinett from this great 2007 vintage. Extremely rare.
Food Pairing: Drank over lunch with chicken terriyaki bento and some unagi tempura.
