This is a good example of why in the past hundred years, we are still into fine Bordeaux wines. They can simply age really well - yes, even Merlot dominated wines. This 2000 vintage (an excellent one) Monbousquet still has excellent fruit intensity, complex of course given its age and will hold for the next 5 to 7 years! Don't miss out.
