Pale ruby, medium intensity of fresh dark cherries, dark flowers aromatics and sweet spices. Quite subtle which we like. Good acidity, medium bodied, medium + intensity of dark cherries and red fruits combo. Medium tannins, great balance, medium length but really commendable. This is a cheerful and superbly made wine that has excellent Pinot Noir typicity!
Why buy? If you love NZ produce (specifically Central Otago where the best Pinot Noir are grown), you must try this. We should also say that the fruits for this wine came from a single vineyard (Claim 431) and only 2709 bottles were produced! That is cult quantity!
