This was made by Tai-Ran NIEW, an ex-Singapore resident who now lives and owns a vineyard in Oregon. Check out his Niew Vineyards Chardonnay - our fastest selling Chardonnay.
He blended these wines at Viniv in Bordeaux. When we received his first vintage 2010, we decided to put it in a blind test against Dame Montrose 2010! You will be surprised that among 12 of us, half voted for Niew Bordeaux! His style is very much more mellow and balanced. Pretty similar to Pichon Lalande's 2nd wine - Reserve de la Comtesse. We were really wowed by his blending and tasting skill in assembling his first vintage 2010.
The cepage/blends are per the back label photos.
EXTREMELY LIMITED. He only made 300 bottles for 2010 vintage.
2014 vintage - 288 bottles
2016 vintage - 240 bottles!
We HIGHLY recommend any of these vintages if you are an open minded Bordeaux or general red wine lover, you will be very impressed!
