Every region has its stars and one of the Languedoc's brightest is Domaine Peyre Rose. Former real estate agent Marlene Soria stumbled across this beautiful property back in the late 1980s when she was showing it to a client - rather than sell it to them, she bought it herself!
After discovering that part of the property she had bought was some old vineyards, Marlene embarked on her new hobby by vinifying the 1991 vintage (in medievel circumstances) and producing two spectacular Syrah based wines - Clos des Cistes (with 15% Grenache) and Clos Leone (with 15% Mourverdre).
The wines received great reviews in the Guide Hachette and since then have been rightly lauded all over the world by critics, sommeliers and collectors alike.
