We tasted this at the Domaine and was immediately sold! Great minerality from a Syrah...which is amazing - it's very hard to find Syrah with minerality! These are the last few bottles remaining in our cellar...and 2015 was a great vintage for Cote Rotie....Go for it!

I give Rostaing's 2015 Cote Rotie La Cote Blonde the slightest of edges over the La Landonne for its more aromatic, floral nose. It shows that same unfathomable depth and richness married to a sense of weightlessness and elegance that marks the La Landonne, and it also shows those wonderfully pure raspberry flavors. It's lush, velvety and incredibly long on the finish. Collectors fortunate enough to grab some of each will have great fun comparing the two over the next 30 years or so. (JC)

Savoury and smoky, classy red-fruited bouquet. Coolly floral style that’s complex and extended. Drinking Window 2024 - 2046.(JLL) (1/2017)

A smoldering beauty, with notes of warm fig, blackberry and cherry preserves entwined with charcoal, cast iron and tar details. Streaks of white pepper, fresh bay leaf and lavender give this pitch and nuance, while a minerally edge drives the finish. Best from 2023 through 2040. (JM) (5/2018)
