This wine won Best of the Best Red Wine Award at the Tower Club Wine Challenge in Singapore.
2011 was a great vintage for CdP and hard to find these days especially one of this quality.
Great reviews by wine critics too:
'Easily the most successful of the three, the 2011 Chateauneuf du Pape Prestige, which is a blend of 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre, is a rich, medium to full-bodied 2011 that has sweet tannin, great fruit and a big finish. Showing the vintage perfume and approachableness, with notes of blackberry, licorice and sweet spice, it should have a solid 10-15 years of longevity'. RP 93 pts.
'Offers dark plum, fig and boysenberry fruit at the core, lined with perfumy notes of roasted bay leaf, chestnut and black tea. Ample grip lies underneath. Rock-solid for the vintage. Best from 2015 through 2030.' Wine Spectator 93 pts
